Westport Transitional

Westport, Connecticut

This location being a five minute walk to the beach inspired an open floor plan with a light and airy feel. The client requested a better flow amongst their kitchen, bar, tv and eating areas. KB Home designer Iris Michaels accomplished this by reworking the plan to give easy access to the deck while not interfering with the function of the kitchen. Additionally, the main table and chairs were relocated to ensure the kitchen was the main focus of the space. This design took various components and allowed them their own individual areas, creating an uncluttered and cohesive environment.
